SINEAD O BRIEN A LIST OF NORMAL SINS

Poet-turned-lyricist Sinead O Brien has been captivating audiences across the capital’s underground music venues for a while now. Often performing with a continually transforming backing band, the Irish-native has now defined her sound by teaming up with musician/producer Will White for the release of her intriguing debut EP.  Its glorious title-track 'A List of Normal Sins' has just been given an equally satisfying visual accompaniment directed by Chloé Le Drezen, which plays on themes of love and happiness to mirror the track's haunting reprise, 'We could be so happy'. Pairing O Brien's thought-provoking lyrics with a fuzzy bass line, comforting keyboard vibes and distant, chiming guitar strums 'A List of Normal Sins' makes for a sophisticated yet utterly intoxicating listen. You can catch Sinead live supporting fellow Irish risers Whenyoung at London's Electrowerkz on the 13th of February. -Holly Mullineaux
